Pop Warner has a very detailed and rigid system of registration and documentation of player eligibility, and they do not bend the rules and regulations they have in place. For other youth sports leagues, you can simply sign a registration form and pay a registration fee. Pop Warner is much different. Documents must be provided and then Pop Warner reviews and certifies the eligibility of participation.
The Documents required include:
1. Copy of the birth certificate
2. Completed and executed Player Contract (click "forms" tab to print document)
3. Registration fee
4. Medical participation form signed by a Medical Doctor after January 1st, 2016. (click "forms" tab to print document) Must be completed on official Pop Warner Form
5. Final report card for the 2015/2016 school year
6. Must meet both age and weight requirements.
We can not stress enough how rigid the Pop Warner system is. Meaning that your son is either fully certified and may participate, or is not certified and thus ineligible to participate. So please follow the specifications of registration very closely.
Please make a COPY of your son’s birth certificate (which will not be returned, so please do not bring the original).

Home games are played at the 7 time NC State Champion Independence High School Football Field or The Mint Hill Park on Fairview.
Away games are played in the Charlotte Metro Area.
Practice begins August 1st. With 3 practices a week. Games begin in September, at that time most teams will practice 2 times per week with one game. The season is 8 weeks long not including Bowl games. Practices are typically 2 hours long.
Practice days will depend on the coach’s schedule. Usually Monday, Wednesday or Tuesday, Thursday.
Your player is required to have 10 hours of conditioning before pads can be worn. If you miss practice you will have to make up those hours.
The registration fee includes all pads and game uniform. All your player will need is cleats, a cup, a mouthpiece and practice pants which we sell for $10.00.
Pads and uniform will be given out after the practices begin in August. Practices will be held in the Mint Hill area at local locations i.e. Mint Hill Park or a school in the area. Coaches will contact players to inform them when to pick up equipment. A player will not receive equipment until the entire registration fee is paid.
Camps are not mandatory but we do encourage your player to attend. Camps are designed to help the players get ready for the upcoming football season.
